Mureš County is situated in the center of the country and it has 3 types of relief: mountains, plain and hills and 6.696 kmp which represent almost 3% of the country. Its name is old, from the XIV century and comes from the Mureš River.
In our county you can practice different types of tourism as cultural tourism, agritourism, spa tourism, or adventure tourism. Many castles, churches, popular costumes or villages bring to tourists the possibility to see different architectural styles from different periods of time. In Mureš County are living together 4 communities: Romanians, Hungarians, Saxons and Roma.
