Aims of the Mureş Tourism Association for the year 2007- main aim: the development and promotion of tourism in the Mureş county
- the elaboration of projects for tourism development through studies and analyses on tourism related domains
- the editing of a guide with all the accommodation possibilities and the restaurants of the county.
- the editing of a brochure for the Mureş county and the making of a DVD which will be distributed at future international fairs, and through tourism agencies from the country and from abroad.
- the participation at tourism fairs, organized in the country and abroad, representing the Mureş county.
- the organizing of informative meetings with potential investors in tourism, with official trips to areas with tourist potential
- the organizing of conferences and debates on tourism related themes, the counseling of agents and enterprisers in the field of tourism
- the opening of information centers in the places with tourist activity
- the organizing of specialty courses in the tourist field
- the cooperation with other associations and organizations with the same profile from the country and from abroad, through exchanging data, information, publications, specialists
- the creation of partnerships with associations on the same profile, in order to promote the aims of the MTA.
