Accomplishments of the Mureş Tourism Association
starting from March 2006:- the editing of a presentation brochure for the Mureş county (A4 format – eight pages) in five languages: Romanian, Hungarian, English, French and German for promotional purpose, which is available for tourists, at the Tourist Information Center in Tîrgu-Mureş
- the creation of a presentation folder of the Association
- the creation and up-dating of the present web site
- the creation of a rich material which presents the niche tourism possibilities in the county which was sent to the website made by the National Union of the County Councils of Romania from Bruxelles: www.destinationromania.eu
- taking part in 5 international fairs: Budapest, Paris, Bruxelles and 2 in Bucharest where tourism possibilities where promoted
- the organising of informative meetings about rural tourism in Dumbrăvioara and Saschiz with potential investors in these areas
- the organising, together with the County Office for Consumers Protection, of a tourism conference with the theme: Respecting the Legal Stipulations for Accommodation Units, and Investment possibilities in developing rural tourism in the Mureş county, event which was attended by over 50 tourism agents in the county
- the elaboration of a data base with all the attractions and tourist sightseeing spots, accommodation units and calendar of events for the Mures county.
